APPENDIX SUBSTITUTION DATA A.1 SCOPE A.1.1 Scope. This appendix contains the PIN substitution information to support the one part-one part number system. For new designs, after the date of this document the new PIN shall be used in lieu of the old PIN. For existing designs prior to the date of this document the new PIN can be used in lieu of the old PIN. The appendix is a mandatory part of the specification.
